Mie Araki

あらきみえ

Mie Araki is a graphic and textile designer, as well as an author and illustrator of picture books. 

 

She earned her degree in graphic design from Shukugawa Gakuin Junior College. She has worked at a graphic design company and a children's clothing company. 

Now she works as a freelance.

 

As an illustrator, she specializes in woodcut prints and has published picture books in Japan, the U. S. and Korea.

 

She was born in Japan and has been living in the U.S. since 2000.
